During the national elections in December 2015, we launched COMPROMETIDOS (Committed), an initiative to get political parties to commit to Spain again contributing to the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria. PSOE, Podemos, IU-UP, UPyD and other parties make their commitments public through official letters and/or social media accounts. But, we need more: we wanted PP and C’s to also commit. That’s why in 2016 we launched #COMPROMETI2, a campaign for the new national elections to get the remaining commitments yet only Ciudadanos did so.
What did we do? We sent boxes with a physical stamp to the most important people within the Partido Popular and Ciudadanos parties. We wanted to make it easy for them. Inside, there was a letter, an explanatory brochure and the stamp. It all had a key message: saving millions of lives was in their hands. |
