During the
month of November, the Complutense University of Madrid organised the first
University Conference on Essential Medications, aimed at spreading awareness
for their importance as public health tools and the difficult access still seen
in many countries.
The conference, which was organised as a free training activity, included video documentaries, presentations, discussions and roundtables. We attended in order to show our documentary “Medical Research: Houston, We Have a Problem” and we participated in a discussion along with Jordi Menendez, Coordinator for Farmamundi in Madrid, and Doctor Bruno Gonzalez Zorn, Director of the Animal Health Department at the Faculty of Veterinary Science at UCM. |
